I knew Chester and Louise for many years and they were a great and loving couple. Louise was sweet and full of energy. My sympathies lie with the family and friends who will miss them. I will miss them both.

Please accept our sympathies for your loss. We never got a chance to meet her, but knowing Karen, she must have been a wonderful lady. God bless you all as you deal with this goodbye. Ben and Sharon Cooper (Willis, TX)

I am very sorry for your loss. I only met Karen's grandma once, but remember how friendly she was and and so energetic. Karen has also shared several memories involving her grandma, like Kriste, being sent to her house when she was "in trouble" but it never really being a punishment. Also, she taught Karen how to make pierogies, which has become one of my favorite meals...she will be missed at the wedding, especially by Karen, who just last week was saying how cool it was that she was going to be there. Your whole family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Grandma Lou (or GG Lou to my kids) was so full of life and energy! She was always smiling and really did live her life to the fullest. I have fond memories of her growing up and even remember being sent over there as a kid for "misbehaving!" She always bought me candy and let me watch whatever I wanted, so my punishment was not really a punishment. She also was able to meet my 2 children, which I am extremely happy about as I know they will always have someone looking over them. Although, you have left this life, I am sure you are in a better one now and your memory will be with me forever-you have taught me alot and I will never forget!

Grandma Lou was a wonderful woman...so full of energy and love. She was an inspiration to all of us with her spirit and great smile. Thank you Grandma for everything you did for me over the years. I promise to keep your pierogie tradition alive every Christmas and then some for my family. I will think of you always and pray to you every night.
Like my mom said, the wedding will not be the same without you, but I know that you and Grandpa will be looking down smiling at all of us, perhaps sipping some white zin :) I love you Grandma.

I met Louise 43 years ago at U of I when Tom & I began dating. Since then we shared the joy of our wedding, Ken's & those of our 2 older daughters. We also reveled in the birth of her 1st 3 grandkids & eventually 2 great great grand kids..we comforted each other during the death of my Dad, Chester's illiness & passing, Michael's death & then my mom's. Karen's wedding won't be the same without you. I am so glad that at the Mom's Day celebration you were at the top of your game & that your sudden & shocking passing was at least peaceful. It is the end of an era & will remember you every day. Love, "Debs"
