Margot and Peter, knew your parents quite well as we were all in Dallas together during the 80's. Amy's wit carried me through so much, we laughed, because neither one of knew what to do in Dallas! Sorry that I just now learned of Amy's passing. So very sorry, remember spending time with you both in Connecticut when you were quite small. Oh, how your mother loved you both. So sorry for your loss, Darra Robertson Pingel

Margot and Peter,
Your mother and I were very close friends while we were both living in Hong Kong. We returned to the States before you and as I had just had a baby before leaving Hong Kong, and your mother was pregnant with you, Peter, in all the re-entry trauma we lost touch. I have been thinking of your mother so much since early May. I have not been able to get her off my mind, so I searched for her on the internet today with the intent of getting in touch with her, and saw her obituary. I am stunned and saddened. Your mother was a woman of absolutely impeccable taste, and meticulous etiquette. She had a peerless eye when it came to art and fashion and interior design. She saw through to the truth more quickly than almost anyone I have ever known. I am sick that I waited so long to reach out to her. I do feel though, that she was somehow saying good-bye to me in that I was suddenly thinking of her daily beginning in May having not spoken with her in over a decade. You two were the light of her life. I apologize for writing at length in a public forum (Amy would disapprove!), but I did want to extend my sympathy and my deep affection for your mother. You both will remain in my heart and in my prayers.

Margot and Peter - your Mom was a funny, smart, honest, kind and a thoughtful woman who we will miss but will keep many memories of.
Our relationship with your family began at King Low -Heywood but continued when she went into real estate. We had several conversations about this decision, and she was excited about the new venture.
Our prayers are with you and your family.

Margot and Peter,
I remember the first day I met your family. I have so many memories from that time, when both of you were just little kids. I considered your Mom a true friend and she has been there for me through all these years. I wil never forget her loving heart, her wonderful sense of humor, her generosity and caring. I consider myself lucky to have had her in my life. Let the wonderful memories you have of your Mom guide you on your journey forward. God bless!

Dear Margot and Peter,
Everyone in Darien is thinking of you. Your Mother was so special-- so much fun, and such a great friend. Those of us who spent time with her loved to hear her laugh, her quick wit and her knowledge in so many areas. Mostly, we appreciated what a good friend she was.
I know she will be with you in so many ways. You were the light of her life.

My heartfelt sympathy and condolences. Your mother was a business associate in the '70s and '80s. I remember her as a most vibrant and caring (to say nothing of being professionally excellent) person. Caring about her business, clients and co-workers. She brought a sparkle to the day. I remember her as a joy to work with.

Dear Margot and Peter,
My prayers are with you. Your mom was a very dear friend of my sister/brother-in-law, Ann and Tom Nash, and to all her friends. I had the good fortune of knowing her through them and loved her quick wit and sense of humor. Continue to remember and love her spirit and strength by listening to the stories her friends tell of their youth. God bless you both.
