JOSEPHINE SCHABACKER Obituary

Josephine Irwin Schabacker, 87, of Ft. Myers, FL and formerly of Chicago/Maroa, IL, passed away May 9, 2011. She was born March 25, 1924 in Chicago, IL to Marie and Joseph Dombrosky. Josephine was a faithful member of the Clinton Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph H. Irwin; son, Frank Teleskey; and sister, Annie Chavez. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Walter Schabacker; as well as children, Joseph Irwin of Ft Myers, FL, Joann Stadler of Durango, IL, John Irwin of Houston, TX, Josephine Gedzyk of Crystal Lake, IL, James Irwin of Decatur, IL, Jerome Irwin of Algonquin, IL and Jeff Irwin of South Elgin, IL; 28 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and sister, Helen Pyrz of Chicago/Palos Park, IL. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 13, from 9 to 12 p.m. at National Cremation & Burial Society, 3453 Hancock Bridge Pkwy., N. Ft. Myers, FL. Condolences may be offered at www.nationalcremation.com.
