Kevin was a wonderful person. He had so much talent and was always willing to share his gifts with others. I enjoyed having him in class and working on plays with him. He was a bright star and will continue to be...

Kevin was the most amazing person I have ever met, his talent, humor, and most amazing mind was something I always admired. working in musicals with him was wonderful, we always tried to get a place together in them. and outside of school we had so much fun as well. I remember working with Kevin and Amy on his play The Lighthouse. That was incredible fun. I remember the all out fun we had at the MDA camp in the summer. those days I wouldn't trade for all the riches in the world, for not having experienced the world of Kevin would have left me a very poor person. set sail my friend, your friend and shipmate, Jake.
P.S. I tied the cargo Masters underwear to the bowsprite for you again!!

Kevin and I were cabin mates when we were kids, at the MDA summer camp. Even at that early age, he already possessed a very charismatic personality. It was not surprising that he would become the MDA poster child for Chicago. We both shared that distinct honor. Kevin will always play a significant role in those fond, childhood memories. My deepest condolences to the entire Kage family.

Chaos lives on the many,
Like the night on the world,
Like a ship in a storm,
Being tossed, being hurled.
People live in that chaos,
Knowing not day from night.
But they shall, all be saved by the
Light.
Beacon of Hope,
Beacon of Glory,
Beacon that leads
ONWARD!
Shine through the night,
Shine till the morning.
We need one glimpse,
To carry on.
One of my fondest memories is spending an afternoon in the Kage home recording "The Lighthouse" with Kevin and his parents. I feel so blessed to have been able to share such a tender and touching story with him and he will always remain in my heart.
Kevin,
I will always and forever remain your Mary Anne. May the Beacon of Hope guide you home.

My condolences to Mrs. Kage and Nathaniel. Kevin was the best, he was a unique and charming person. I have many fond memories of him from U. of Illinois. When the song American Pie comes on, I always think of Kevin and walking home with him one night as he sang that song. I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
