PATRICK DAWSON Obituary
Patrick (Pat) Dawson, 78, US Army Veteran, died peacefully on May 3, 2011. Beloved father of Peggy, Sheila (Pat) Barton, Amy and Elizabeth Dawson; proud grandfather of Jason, Grace, Michael and Brendan; dear brother of Margaret (Mort) Goldberg, James (Emily), Kathleen (Philip) Mahoney and Michael (Judy); fond uncle of many. Preceded in death by his siblings, John and Diane (Himmel). Deeply missed by his dear friend, Carolyn Bednar. Retired CPS teacher, Hines volunteer, 4th Degree K of C, friend of Bill W. Visitation Sunday, May 15, 4 to 8 p.m., with sharing of memories at 6 p.m. Funeral, Monday, May 16, 9:15 a.m. at Adolf Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd., 2921 S. Harlem Ave., Berwyn to St. Frances of Rome Church, 1428 S. 59th St, Cicero, for 10 a.m. Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Suburban Fellowship, 7438 W. Harrison St., Forest Park.
