I have been in the golf industry for over 35 years and Avis and Cass are 2 of the favorite people I ever met. Our introduction through business turned into a treasured life long friendship. I spoke to Avis frequently since Cass's passing. Avis was so proud of her family and spoke frequently about her children, grandchildren and at the same time always showed her interest in others and their well being. I will always respect her thoughtfulness, strength and unwavering beliefs in right and wrong.
When you visited the house of Cass & Avis Holda the WELCOME mat was always out and she made you feel more comfortable and relaxed than if you were in your own home.
I will never forget the times we spent sitting together at the slot machines in Las Vegas, or the dinners at PGA Shows or the times when I visited as a guest at Ridgemoor! Avis lived, laughed and loved better than anybody! I consider myself extremely fortunate to be a friend of Avis. Avis you will be missed but never forgotten.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Holda family through these difficult times.

My condolences to the family. May the words found at Psalms 90:10 give you as much comfort as it does to me knowing that Avis lived a life well lived. May our hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as we celebrate a life well lived.

My Aunt Sissy was another mother to me, and my cousins are also my sisters. I love you so much. As Mark said, Aunt Sissy, Uncle Cass, my mom and dad are all together-waiting for the rest of us to join the family reunion. My heart is with you, and all our prayers. Kiss Patrick for me (germ free).
Love, Barb, Michael, Sam, Kimmy and Ben
