Pat and Colleen,
I was Mike's co-worker years ago when first starting out, and it was a blessing to know him. Mike defined the word "panache" even before it was in common use. He shared recipes, whirligigs, opening-day peanuts, and a lot of common-sense advice that I value even to this day. He'll always be that cool guy across the aisle.

Pat,
I was so sorry to hear about Mike. I was thrilled to see him at the last Scott, Foresman 20-year-club dinner. I enjoyed seeing some of Colleen's wedding pictures. I smile every time I come across a recipe that Mike had given me. You have my deepest sympathy.

Dear Pat,
I am so sorry. I worked with Mike for many years at Scott Foresman. I remember what a nice person he was and I remember his great sense of humor. He spoke of you often. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Kathleen Lally
