Casimir J. Pieniazek, age 87, resident of Elmhurst, Past Grand Knight, Knights of Columbus, Fr. McDonald Council, Post #1911, member American Legion Post #187; beloved husband of the late Yvonne, nee Stoneburg; loving father of Mark (Lynn), Rhonda Leston-Eck and the late Donald; proud grandfather of Stephanie, Mark and Philip Pieniazek, Jennifer (Dan) Ulaszek and Amanda Leston; dear brother of the late Anthony J. (the late Isabelle); fond uncle of John Pieniazek and Michele Berglund and great-uncle of many. Visitation Thursday, 3 until 8 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. until time of funeral 8:45 a.m., at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Rd. (1/2 mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst. Mass of Christian Burial, 9:30 a.m. at Visitation Catholic Church. Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 208 South LaSalle St., #1500, Chicago, IL 60604.
