ANN VALASKOVIC

Ann Valaskovic, nee Ranik, age 92, of Chicago, passed away May 17. Beloved wife of the late Joseph of 53 yrs; loving mother of the late JoAnn Fenlon; and proud mother-in-law of Dave; wonderfully devoted grandmother of Kathleen (Mark), Beth (Scott), Erin (Eric) and Meghan (John); adoring great-grandmother of Emma, Colin, Ethan, Jake, Ariel, Caden, Brody, Rosemary and Elise; dearest sister of Lillian Swiek, Betty (the late Wes) Wilton, the late John (Lucille) and Steve (the late Bette); caring aunt of many nieces and nephews. Ann will be fondly remembered as a longtime member of the Ladies Society, Altar Guild and Seniors at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. She was a dedicated beautician to many, world traveler, fabulous baker, loyal Cubs fan and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Lying in state Monday, May 23, 10 a.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 5259 S. Major, Chicago until time of funeral service 11 a.m. Interment Mt. Vernon Memorial Estates.
