KATHERINE B. MASSA

Katherine B. Massa, 70, of Dadeville, AL, passed away on April 27, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Massa, Dec. of 2005. She was born and raised in Chicago and the Chicago suburbs. Kathy relocated to Florida in 1987 and then moved to Dadeville, AL in the fall of 2007. She was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Alexander City, AL and an active member of the Friends of the Library at the Dadeville Public Library. Kathy loved reading, working in her yard and most of all her dog Sophie who now lives with her daughter. She is survived by her daughter Stefanie (Bob) Massa Young; sons, John Massa and Christopher (Laurie) Massa; grandchildren, Meredith, Cassie, Cameron, Sam, Elizabeth and Leah. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Brookfield, IL on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Dadeville Public Library, 205 N. West St. Dadeville, AL, 36853.
