John D. Daye, beloved husband of Mary Ann, nee Damato; loving father of John (Kathleen), Frank (Terry), and Ron (Sue) Daye; cherished grandfather of Tyler, Rachel, and Jessica; dear brother of Eleanor, the late Marion, and Rosemary; uncle of many. Member of the Commonwealth Edison American Legion Post # 18. Retired after 42 years of service with Commonwealth Edison. Family and friends will gather Sunday from 2 p.m. until time of service 5 p.m. at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral home & Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Ave., Franklin Park.
