ANGELINE GIRZAITIS Obituary

Angeline P. Girzaitis, nee Pratt, age 79, of Eldersburg, MD, formerly of Chicago, IL. Born Dec. 26, 1931 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mary Pratt. She was the loving wife of the late Zenon P. Girzaitis. She was the cherished mother of Nancy Girzaitis and the late Carol Ann Girzaitis; loving sister of Lillian Klockowski and the late Dolores Karczewski and Helen Reed; aunt of Thomas Karczewski and his wife Victoria, Jeffrey Klockowski and his wife Carol, Joseph Karczewski and his wife Chris, Brigid Bielecki and her husband John, Wendy Boothe and her husband Wayne, James Klockowski, Kathi Reed, and the late Chester Karczewski; sister-in-law of Maureen Karczewski, Robert Reed and the late Florian Klockowski and Chester Karczewski. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Orland Park, IL. Interment private in Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA. Arrangements by Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, P.A. Online condolences may be made at www.haightfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Mary's College, Development Office, Le Mans Hall, Notre Dame, IN, 46556, in Angeline's name.

She was such a wonderful Aunt to my late husband Chester and a fabulous Great Aunt to my childen, Mary, Tom and Sarah Karczewski. She was fun to talk to over the phone. I would always ask How ya doing? Her relpy to me was Just Hangin!!! Now she's Hangin with the best of them. Her husband Jack and daughter Carol, along with her sisters Dolores and Helen. We will miss her laugh and wonderful sense of humor. We love You Aunt Angie. Rest in peace. You will be missed.
