JANICE W. EGGIMANN

Janice W. Eggimann, age 86, passed away on May 17, 2011 at Hinsdale Hospital, IL. Survived by her beloved husband of 63 yrs., Eugene L. Eggimann. Janice was the loving mother of Barbara L. Krupa (George E), Jeffrey W. (Lynna), Linda (James); proud grandmother of Amy M. Krupa, Douglas M. Krupa, Lisa M. Witek, Mitchell J. Witek, Quintin Melton, Austin Colt Melton; sister Mildred W. Bolenbaugh; aunt of James Bolenbaugh, Kathleen B. Daverman and Ruth P. Deal. Born in New York, last resided in Westmont, IL, formerly a resident of Deltona, FL, Park Forest, IL, Wood River, IL and Dayton, OH. Jan was employed for many years as an Insurance Claims Representative for Liberty Mutual. She proudly served many organizations. She was a WWII USO volunteer, PTA President, President of Park Forest Boys Baseball and Cub Scout Den Mother. She won competitions for sewing, Toast Mistress Club, Sweet Adeline, bridge, tennis, bowling, field hockey, golf and even had a hole-in-one. In lieu of flowers, memorials to: American Lung Association, National Kidney Foundation or Alzheimer's Association. An Open House Celebration of Life will be held at Heartland Memorial Center, 7151 183rd Street, Tinley Park, IL 60477. 708-444-2266. Monday, May 23, 2011 from 5 to 9 p.m. with a service at 7 p.m. Interment later date at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
