Mary T. Fennessey, nee Doheny; beloved wife of the late William M. Fennessey, retired CPD and retired Deputy Sheriff of Cook County; loving mother of Mary (Walter) Kittler, William G. Fennessey, Michael J. (Melanie) Fennessey, James (Judy) Fennessey, Joanie Fennessey and the late John Fennessey; cherished grandmother of David (Lisa), James, Kristen, Michael, William, Kelly, Colleen (Steve), Patrick, Joe and Katherine; proud great-grandmother of Joesph and D.J.; dear sister of Bridget and Daniel Doheny; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Thursday, 9 a.m. from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn to St. Bede the Venerable Church, Chicago for mass at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. 708-425-0500.

Mrs. Fennessey always had a smile for me and good conversation. I have great memories of this strong woman, who was devoted to her family and loved them no matter what. Good bye Mrs. Fennessey, I'll always remember you.

Thanks, Dear Lord for bringing Mary into my life. She was always an inspiration to me. She loved life...family and friends. She is now united with Bill and John. God Bless the Fennesseys!
