ANTHONY CASCARANO Obituary

Anthony Thomas Cascarano, 90, peacefully passed away on May 13, 2011. Tony, a life-long Lake Forest resident, courageously served in WWII for four years, after which he returned home to start his own upholstery business. In his spare time, Tony, who was known as "Pop" to his family, enjoyed golfing, bowling and hunting. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Bettie; sons Rick (Linda), Craig (Judi), and Tom (Pam); grandchildren Laurie (Steve) Earley, Robert (Amy) Cascarano, Jen (Hans) Sandbo, Dan (Kali) Cascarano, Angie (Brian) Quinn, and Katie Cascarano; and great-grandchildren Patrick, Ethan and Matthew Earley, Gemma Cascarano, Ayla Sandbo, and great-grandchild number six due in October; and his sister Sena. A service will be held at noon on June 11, 2011, at the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest, 700 N. Sheridan Rd. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in Tony's name to either of the following locations: Post 264 American Legion, PO Box 264, Lake Forest, IL, 60045, or Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, Attn: Terri Allen, Office of Philanthropy, 660 N.
