Virginia L. Lemberg, nee Geni, of Mt. Prospect, passed away on June 2, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Edward J.; loving mother of Jean (Jim) Trnka, and Diane Joergens; cherished grandmother of Nick (Laura), Laura (Daniel), and Dan (Lindsay); proud great grandmother of Jill, John, Riley and Alexis; dear sister of John (Becky) Geni, and the late Ralph W. (Evelyn) Geni. Visitation Sunday, June 5, 2011, beginning at 3 p.m. until 8 p.m., at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Ave., Des Plaines, IL, 60016. Virginia will lie in state on Monday, June 6, 2011, beginning at 12:30 p.m., until time of Funeral Mass at 1 p.m., at St. Raymond Catholic Church, 301 S. I-Oka Ave., Mt. Prospect, IL, 60056. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Nazarethville. For info please call (847) 699-9003, or glhillsfuneralhome.com.

I am so sorry to hear about your dear mother. Although she lived to an old age, it is still very diffucult to lose such an important person in your life, Jean and Diane. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
