JOHN RISTOW Obituary

John M. Ristow, born to Eternal Life Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the age of 70 years, with his wife of 47 years, Judie, nee Hausmann, at his side. Loving father of Sue (Jim) Putnam and Barbara "BLR III" (Christopher) Hennessy; dearest son of Elizabeth, nee Jekel, Ristow; fond brother of Carolyn (Richard) O'Neill, Robert Ristow, Merry Ristow and Paul (Sharon) Ristow; proud grandfather of Jake, Katie and Nicholas Putnam and Lillian and Eloise Hennessy; dear brother-in-law of James (Susan) Hausmann; faithful companion of Cracker Jack; further survived by other relatives and friends. Preceding in death were his father, Martin; and sister, Betty Ristow. John was a United States Army veteran, serving in Vietnam. He worked for H.J. Pertzborn for over 29 years as a project manager. Funeral Services 10 a.m., Monday, June 6, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, W240 N3103 Pewaukee Rd., Pewaukee, WI. (Hwy. 164 south of Capitol Dr.). Visitation from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at the funeral home, and from 9 a.m. Monday until time of service at the church. Interment following with military honors at Forest Hill Cemetery, Pewaukee. Memorials in John's name to Northwestern University Cat Backers, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
