Frances Van Camp Obituary

Frances Dee Van Camp, 73, of Odessa, FL, died May 31, 2011, at UCH Hospital in Tampa, FL. Frances was born to the late Dorothy Brown in Danville, IL, on October 9, 1937. Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Donald Gene; son, Michael; and daughter, Kimberly. Frances and Donald lived most of their life together in Crete, IL. In 1964, Frances and Donald co-founded their family business, Van's Industrial Sheet Metal, located in Hammond, Indiana. During her life Frances enjoyed deep sea fishing, tournaments with her husband, boating in the Florida Keys, and was a bowler for many years. Fran's loving companions Brandy, Fluffy, and Noelle held a special place in her heart. Frances is survived by her three children, Kathy (Van Camp) Mayer (Thomas), Debbie (Van Camp) Ruiz-Mastronardi (Dominic) and David Van Camp (Renee). Frances was loved by her eight grandchildren, Tamara, Regina and Chase Mayer, Danielle and Ryan Ruiz, Michael, Gregory and Elyse Van Camp. Frances will be laid to rest alongside her loving husband, Donald, at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.
