Marilyn T. Vonesh, nee Stone, age 84, longtime resident of Oak Park. Beloved wife of the late James R. Vonesh; loving mother of Mary Ellen (James) Marren, Margaret "Peggy" (the late Larry) Harrison, Ellie (Gregory) Roman, Marilyn (Mark) Bruscato, Rosemary (Scott) McAdams and James (RoseAnn) Vonesh; fond grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 12; dear sister of Eleanor Stone, Dolores Kolf and the late Frances Riley; loving aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Lifelong active member of St. Giles Church in Oak Park. Visitation Sunday June 5, 2011 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Road (2 blks. W. of Mannheim Rd) Westchester. Family and friends are asked to meet on Monday June 6, 2011 at St. Giles Church, 1025 Columbian, Oak Park for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Mrs. Vonesh was such a special woman. We grew up just doors away from the Vonesh family. It was very nice to see Jim, Peggy, Ellie and all the family yesterday. God Bless Mrs. Vonesh.

Marilyn was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. How fortunate that I have had the pleasure to know her as a child, but now as through the eyes of a woman. Her family was her life. As a St. Giles classmate of Jim's, I remember what a wonderful family the Vonesh's are which is a tribute to their parents. I am so sorry for your loss and will keep the entire Vonesh Family in my thoughts and prayers.
