WAYNE SCHAUER Obituary
Wayne C. Schauer, 71, of Willow Springs. Loving husband of Sandra, nee Yost; dear father of Scott and Richard (Donna Hattey) Schauer; fond grandpa of Corey Hattey and Olivia Schauer; brother of Warren (Dorothy) and the late Terry; fond uncle and friend of many. Wayne was an Army Veteran and owner of Schauer's Hardware and Schauer's Hallmark in Forest Park, IL. He previously owned hardware stores in Chicago and Winfield. Visitation Sunday 3 to 8 p.m. at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Visitation continues Monday 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Funeral info: 708-352-6500. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Wayne was a nice man and I am sorry for all his friends and family. I loved speaking with him in the store about his love for his family and the town where he worked, and he was loved there by all. He had a wonderful smile and warm heart, his family was always on his mind.
