I grew up in the house right next door to Ruth on Dickens Street in the 70s and 80s.She was a big part of our families life. I remember her cat Flurry, and our cat, Goodguy were also great friends. A more generous and caring person you will not find. Bless you Ruth! You will be remembered and missed.

My mother, Gloria, has been friends with Ruth spaning far more than 50 years. It has been a privilege to know Ruth and to lean from her. We shared many interests and good times. I will miss her a lot especially in October when the opera season begins.
