Just wanted to express our sympathy on John's passing. My wife and I both enjoyed the benefit of John's wisdom and good humor over 20 years while working at Knowles Electronics... and in one of those small world moments, my mother also knew him from briefly working at DeFrees way back when. Can't help but smile at the memories...

We were so very sorry to hear of John's passing. I had the privilege of working with him at Defrees & Fiske for over 40 years. He was a good man and easy to talk to--and always had a smile on his face. My husband Jon and I send our sincere sympathy and condolences to the Hupp family. He will be remembered fondly.

Dear Hupp family,
My heart is heavy to hear of Mr. Hupp's passing. I'm sorry for your loss, and I am sad knowing that the world has lost a truly good man.
Last time I saw John Hupp he spoke at my father's funeral. I'm quite sure John Bowden is in that receiving line up beyond the pearly gates welcoming him home.
All my love,
Georgia Bowden

I was John Hupp's secretary almost 50 years ago. He was the most honorable and finest man for whom I ever worked. I was invited to dinner with his family many times during the years his children were growing up. He was always kind and caring and I thought very highly of him. My prayers and sincere condolences to all of his family.

I had the honor and pleasure of knowing John by way of his serving as corporate attorney for Knowles Electronics for over 30 years. John was a dear friend of my Grandfather, Hugh Knowles, and was well liked and respected by the entire Knowles family. John was far more than an attorney at Knowles. He served as advisor, confidant, peace maker, and friend and always did so with great intelligence, integrity, humor, graciousness and humility. He will be deeply missed by all of us.

We had many great years in Park Ridge as neighbors to the Hupp's. My thoughts are with all of you at this sad time. Your dad was a wonderful man. I'd like to think that Dodo and Jack were in the big receiving line to greet him up in heaven!
