FREDERICK FIELD Obituary
Frederick J. Field, Jr., age 93, U.S. Army Air Corps., WW II. Beloved husband of Helen, nee Dovich; loving father of Janice (Thomas) Martin and Ronald Field; proud grandfather of Barbara (Jim) Ostrowski and Richard (Gina) Martin; fond great-grandfather of Spencer and Christian Ostroski. Fred was the last survivor of seven brothers and sisters. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday, 9:15 a.m. from the Brady-Gill Funeral Home, 16600 S. Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park, to Transfiguration Church, 12219 S. 86th Ave., Palos Park. Services 10 a.m. Interment Oakland Memory Lanes Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m. Fred was a dedicated member for 33 years with the Barbershop Chorus. In lieu of flowers, donation to Palos Hospice, 15295 E. 127th St., Lemont, IL 60439 appreciated. I will always remember what a great gentleman Fred was. He has a special place in my heart. I grew to know him over the years when he would visit the bank. He always had a great story to share with me. Golf, boys, life, his wife and family, his singing clan, anything and everything! He was such a wise man with a very generous heart. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. He will absolutely be missed! <3

I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle Freddy. He was always so jovial and happy. All of the nieces and nephews loved being around him. I am sure he is golfing right now, while singing with the barbershop chorus! All our love during this difficult time.
