I am so sorry to hear about your lose. My daughter Anna always played with her at the play ground at West. Anna always talked about her and called Rachel her best friend. Anna misses her very much. I told her that she is now a guardian angel. You and your family are in our thoughts and prays.

Our son went to school with Rachel. When I was discussing this with him to try and help him comprehend something so difficult to understand, he looked at me and said "Rachel is sitting in Jesus's lap right now and he has his arms wrapped around her" Keep that thought in your hearts and minds as your family takes on each day. Although you do not know me, I arrived at the accident moments after it happened. I wanted to express my deepest sympathy to your family. I have a nephew at Lutheran General with massive head injuries he sustained when he was hit by a car a few weeks ago. He was actually a couple rooms away from Rachel's. Even as a stranger, the loss of your daughter has been difficult for me. I wanted to express to you how sorry I was to hear about her passing. I have cried countless tears for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing even strangers are praying for you to find the strength you need to get through this. So sorry for your loss.
