ALFRED KOWALSKI Obituary
Alfred (Alfie) Kowalski, born Nov. 1, 1919, passed away on June 12, 2011. A World War II Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Martha, nee Wonderlick; loving father of Joyce (Bob) Manning and Pamela (Bruce) Yelnick; grandfather (Papa) to Michael, Pamela, Jessica and Trevor; great-grandfather to Kyla and Reyna. Resident of Palm Springs, CA for 28 years, joyful resident of The Veterans Home in Barstow, CA for the last two years. He was a happy man and always had a smile on his face. His zest for life will be missed by all who knew him. Internment Arlington Mortuary, 9645 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations are sent to the Veterans Home of CA, 100 E. Veterans Parkway, Barstow, CA 92311. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
