Charles H. Marshall, 82, of Shavertown, passed away Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024, in Commonwealth General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, Chuck was the son of the late Charles H. and Helen Gribble Marshall.
He graduated from Forty Fort High School, and attended Wilkes College. After an extensive career in sales, he retired from Arrow Automotive.
Chuck was a member of St. Therese's Catholic Church, where he faithfully served as a Eucharistic minister. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and was a lifelong fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Attending his grandchildren's events was one of his favorite pastimes.
In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his son, Charles Hayden Marshall III.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, the former Henrietta Wolfe; children, Scott and Lori (Kuhar) Marshall, Dallas; Eric and Lucia (Michael) Marshall, Rising Sun, Md.; grandchildren, Ciara (Marco), Ryan (Sarah), Hayden, Justin, Colin; and brother, Robert (Doris).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Therese's Church, 64 Davis St., Shavertown. The Rev. Joseph Pisaneschi will serve as officiant. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday from Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown.
