Margaret Pieratt Obituary
There will be no visitation.
Memorial services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Craig Cockrell officiating.
Interment will follow at the columbarium at First United Methodist Church, Carlsbad, N.M.
Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Margaret Marianne was born to Lewis W. and Joan C. Hargrave on Sept. 3, 1974, in Carlsbad. She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1992 where she was on the swim team. Margaret attended Eastern New Mexico University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in public Ccmmunications. While in college she was homecoming queen, active in student government and a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Margaret married Jeremey Pieratt on May 1, 1999, in Carlsbad and they began their life together living in Dallas. She went to work for Pegasus Solutions in 2000 where she worked in the human resource department and was recently promoted to Human Resource Director of United States Operations. Margaret was a faithful Christian and was a member of Fellowship Church of Grapevine, Texas. Most importantly she was a devoted wife and mother. Margaret will be remembered by her thoughtfulness and kindness she shared in so many ways. She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis W. Hargrave, Jr.
Survivors include: spouse, Jeremey Pieratt of Flower Mound, Texas; one daughter, Gretchen Grace Pieratt of Flower Mound, Texas; one son, Barton Lewis Pieratt of Flower Mound, Texas; mother, Joan C. Hargrave of Carlsbad; one sister, Paula Stricklin and husband, Robert, of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Carl Lieberwirth and wife, Tracy, of Carlsbad and Steven D. Lieberwirth of Santa Fe, N.M.; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions, which will benefit Margaret's children, will be announced in a forthcoming obituary.

I knew Margaret professionally as well as personally and she was always a breath of fresh air to everyone around her. I first met her many years ago at a networking event and we became fast friends. We reconnected last October after not seeing each other for a long while. We attended networking events together and always had people riveted by her knowledge of her industry and with her beauty both inside and out! She had the greatest stories about New Mexico growing up and her beautiful children.
She will be missed! My thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this time.

I knew Margaret from my summers in CBad when I stayed with my grandparents, Joe and Alyce Willis. Margaret, my cousin and I sold rocks and pictures we made from my granparents' porch and made the front page of the paper. I will never forget that time in our lives and hope moments like that are what everyone can hold on to. I hope the holidays bring an opportunity to recall happy memories for your family.

I had the opportunity to get to know Margaret at ENMU when she and Frank were sharing an apartment their senior year. She was definitely full of life and such a sweetheart. I knew she was special the day I met her. She was outstanding in every way and it was a pleasure to be a sort of mentor to her. The student long ago surpassed the "old master of HR". Margaret was a joy to work with, my day was always a happier after taking to her. I can only imagine the tremedous influence she had on her family, and to those much closer to her.
