Lillian Anderson Obituary
Mrs. Anderson was a native of Mobile, Ala., and a resident of Newport News for 50 years. She served in the Navy Waves during WWII and was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, S.H. (Andy) Anderson, and stepdaughter, Eloise Wilson.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Chenault, and stepdaughter, Abby Walker; two brothers, Vaudy Holley of Semmes, Ala., and James Holley of Chunchula, Ala.; and eight grandchildren, Brian and Kacey Chenault, David, Phillip and Danny Walker, Ricky, Mark and Randy Wilson; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, at Peninsula Funeral Home. Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, at Peninsula Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Donald Ambrose. Burial will follow at Peninsula Memorial Park.

Our deepest sympathy to your family, we remember with great fondness your parents from Parkview Baptist. Lillian was a very special christian lady and I know she will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

Sharon,
I remember fondly the many times I visited your home when we were children. We had many laughs with Lil and she was always so loving toward us. I know that the thought of her with a restored body and mind alongside her Savior and Andy will give you Mike, Brian and Kacey comfort and peace in the days ahead.
If they have ice cream floats in Heaven, she and Andy are having one right now and discussing how proud they are of you:)
