Kalil Deloatch Obituary

HAMPTON - On Aug. 13, 2008, God welcomed a precious little angel into heaven, Master Kalil Jordan Deloatch.
Kalil was born on Aug. 13, 2008 to Sean and Cortney Deloatch. Kalil had already formed a playful personality, by responding to the presence of people by kicking, but when they touched mommy's tummy to feel him move, he would stop. Kalil was given the nickname "K.J" and his brother, Kemani, was waiting for his arrival with great excitement.
K.J. leaves to cherish his memories his parents; Sean and Cortney; brother, Kemani; grandparents, Curtis and Chrystal Dixon and Fannie Rickard; great-grandmothers, Enethia Hill and Retha Deloatch; godfather, Issiah Abramson; a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday Aug. 19, 2008, at Ivy Baptist Church, 50 Maple Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607, the Rev. Dr. Kevin G. Swann, presiding. Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
Services of Celebration and Remembrance are entrusted to M. E. Fisher Funeral Home, 2117 Madison Ave, NN, VA 757-245-3302. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.

To my precious children, Sean & Cortney,

As others have already said there are no words to say that can take the pain away but God can help you get thru it. The Lord says he will give strength unto his people; he also says he will bless his people with peace (Psalm 29:11). Just rest in the arms of the Lord as K.J. is and he will give you much comfort. He is taking care of our little Angel now. I love you with all my heart, Mom

Sean and Courtney I am so sorry for you lost. I can't find the words to express my sympathy. We don't always know the reason why things happen the way they do but if you look to Him you will find comfort. Stay strong and trust in God. We will continue to keep you in our prayers.

Sean & Cortney,

You know that the 2 of you are like a niece & nephew/sister & brother to us. We can't begin to imagine how deep your pain is, but we know that God is in control of all things and can give you all the peace and comfort you need. How we wish we could be there with you during this time, but please know that we are only a phone call and 5 hours away. So many have sent their love and condolences as well (Tasha from the wedding, and cousin Kim), so take comfort in knowing that there is love, comfort, and support all around you, near and far. We love you, Kemani, and our little KJ and pray that God will continue to watch over you and your family.

I would like to send my condolences to you and your family. My sons Nairobi and Nile were born August 12, 2005. They both passed due to them being born prematurely at 23 weeks Nairobi 8/14 and Nile 8/18. I laid them to rest on 8/25. I have no other kids. They were my only ones. What keeps me going is knowing that God picked me to be their Mother and give birth to Angels that would go on to do his work. I will keep you in my prayers. At a time like this there are no words that can take away the pain. Hopefully you have a good support system and there are also support groups out there. Only time and a lot of prayer can heal wounds this deep.
