Daniel Ottmann Obituary

YORKTOWN - Daniel Joseph Ottmann, 78, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2008.
Daniel was a native of Milwaukee, Wis., and was a resident of Mary Esther, Fla., before moving to the Peninsula in September of 1996. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 24 years, and was a recipient of the Bronze Star, before retiring in 1975 as a CMSGT. After his retirement, he was employed with quality control at Fairchild Industries in Crestview, Fla.
Daniel was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Alverta Mae Ottmann.
He is survived by his daughter, Shirley Roller and her husband, George, of Tabb; two granddaughters, Georgia R. McQuigg and her husband, Ron, and Shiryl Everhart and her husband, David, all of Tabb; and three great-grandsons, Zach McQuigg, and Davey and James Everhart.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, in Hampton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Amory Funeral Home, Grafton.
