Dear Fran, Chad & Brian,
I was most sorry to hear of Brent's passing. He was my right hand man for those years in Hawaii and a great friend as well. He taught me the challenge of grabbing lobsters from rather dark looking caves at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean and watching the circling of sharks. The many "Hail & Farewell" parties were special because of what Brent did for each of them.

Know that each of you is in our prayers and thoughts. If there is anything we can do to help, do call or write or send signals.

Dear Fran Chad & Brian,

Pyong and I are saddened to hear about Brent's passing so soon after going home from the hospital. He was so fortunate to have slipped away in his sleep, at home, surrounded by a loving family.

I never knew Brent as a youngster or young man having served under him when he was a US Army LTC at Fort Shafter, Hawaii over 20 years ago. He was a great boss to work for and he cared about all of us. I can still see, so vividly, his animated way of talking -the use of his hands and arms would make an Italian envious. But he exhibited his greatest joy when speaking of his family and his great passion - fishing!!

God Bless all of you! You're all in our hearts and thoughts and prayers.

With Aloha for the Miller Ohana,

Jim & Christie Bradley

Dear Friends,

I am sorry for the loss of a great man in your lives. Times will be tough for a while without him here on Earth, but know that he will always be with you in your day to day lives. The relationship between you and Brent was not built in a short time, nor will it vanish in an instant either. He will always be with you; during holidays, family gatherings, out fishing, on the lakeside dock...wherever…you are not alone. Celebrate his life.

Love Always,
Jennifer “Buckwheat” Brown

Fran and Family:

We are so sorry about Brent but also realize he is no longer suffering and in a better place. He was a good friend and he and John are probably out fishing at a hot spot in heaven. I don't think I was ready for this so soon after John.
Love Mary and my family

Brent and I were neighbors in Huntington from the time we were 12 years old until we graduated high school in 1961, when we went our separate ways. He was like a brother to me, friend and gentleman. I know the deep pain you feel, as I feel it too. Remember always the good times together.
