Reva Stout Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Reva Beam Stout, 94, of Williamsburg, died Sept. 2, 2008.
She is survived by three sons, Jerry R. Stout of Richmond, Va., J.D. Stout of Gloucester and Errol B. Stout of Williamsburg; two daughters, Lois S. Bodie and Sharon S. Douglas, both of Williamsburg. She had 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Bill Beam of Horner, W.Va.
Mrs. Stout was born in Copen, W.Va., and was a resident of Williamsburg for 65 years. She was a resident at Dominion Village for the past 5 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Hoy Dee Stout; her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Andrew J. Beam; two sisters and three brothers.
She was an active member of Smith Memorial Church for many years. She spent her life making her husband and children a happy home. Her greatest joy came from cooking, sewing and singing.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, at Smith Memorial Baptist Church. Interment in Williamsburg Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be made to Smith Memorial Baptist Church, 6515 Richmond Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185 or Hospice Support Care of Williamsburg, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, VA 23188.
