Dear Uncle Bernice, Gayle, and Family,
You are all in our thoughts and prayers today, as you all have been for many years. We admire you all so much for the courage and tender loving care that it took to help your wife, mother, and grandmother through such a long journey. We will remember most her graciousness and spirit. The gentle and kind person that she was will be remembered by our sons, as well. We are all better people for having been in her presence. We hope that God's precious gift of peace will be yours today and forever. "...and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus Phil 4:7"

Uncle Jonsie and Gayle,
The service for Aunt Kathryn was so touching. Everything said about her was so true. I never remember an unkind or harsh word said by her and was always in awe of her beauty both inside and out.
Much Love, Billie Shannon

Uncle Bernice, Gayle and family,
We were saddened to hear of Aunt Kathryn's recent turn of bad health, and then of her passing. We will always remember the many trips you made to Oklahoma, days full of catching up and seeing as many relatives as possible. Of the two trips I have made to Virginia, the first as a twelve year old, Aunt Kathryn was the most gracious host and excellent cook, and the second was just about three years ago, when both of you took very good care of us. We will greatly miss her, and will try very hard to check in on you more often. We love you, and wish for you all comfort and peace. Love, Elaine, Jimmy and family

Gayle,
I admire you for the devotion, love, and care giving you have provided your mother and father through many difficult years. Now that your mother is free of pain and the bed ridden life she has endured for so long you can be at peace in one respect however I know the emptiness you will always feel from losing your mother. Time does not heal the loss but enables you to smile in her memory. Your friend, Leigh
