I knew Ernie in the 70's in Ledyard/N Stonington. What a nice guy. I'll never forget the Puma knife he gave me for no special reason. My sympathy for your loss.

Denis, Amy, and Phyllis -- you all are in my heart. The world lost one of its brightest spots when Ernie departed it, but Heaven has a brighter star.

Dear Amy, Mary K, Terry and Donna,

You all have my heartfelt condolences. I knew this could come but so hoped it would not. I'll always have many fond memories of Mike/Ernie -- a great friend, a fine man, a proud father, both caring and funny (I love to tell stories of him terrorizing those customers in the Two Guys pet dept. - all true), a wonderful outdoorsman (I never could keep up with his long strides hiking together!). We'll all miss him. Please know my thoughts are with you.
