I met your Mother when we took the Air and Space Center Docent Training together. I always enjoyed her and looked forward to our volunteer time together at the center. I am very sorry for your loss - she was a phenomenal woman.

Brenda and Family,
I remember many great times we had as children. When I visited your home your mother always served us a vegetable plate for a snack. She was a wonderful lady. I will always have fond memories of her. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Brenda and Richard,
I am sorry about the loss of your mother. She was always very kind to me. Brenda, I know all of this is very overwhelming to you right now but things will calm down. Just take it one day at a time and please take the time to reflect on the good memories of your mom.
Love,
Joyce

Dear Ricky and Brenda,
My Great Aunt Rosa will always have a special place in my heart. Her contagious positive attitude, zest for life, love of her family, dedication to teaching children and generosity to others are attributes I will always admir. Some of my fondest memories of my childhood are going to her house for family holidays, getting to ride the swinging horses and explore her school - Little Folks Kindergarden.
I enjoyed getting to see her continue to have a role in the lives of children when she volunteered to teach at the Virginia Air & Space Center. She loved learning about science and getting to teach the childen. Her desire to keep learning always impressed me.
Your mother was truly an amazing woman and will be an inspiration to me for years to come. I hope you find comfort in happy memories and all the good she did while living in this world. I find comfort in knowing she will be with Grandma Bessie again. I know she would want us to celebrate her life and treasure the happy times.
Love,
Kim Hinson

There is so much to say about Aunt Rose. She was a beautiful, loving, high spirited charismatic woman that we swore would live until100. She has been an inspiration to everyone who came in contact with her. I remember being a little girl and playing at the Little Folks Daycare on all the holidays or when we went over just for a visit. She always stayed active in her daily life, from participating at the CNU Life Learning Program to volunteering at the Virginia Air and Space Center, she always made the best of her life. I recall her doing aerobics until she was about 80 years old. How many people at 80 can still say that they do aerobics? But, that was our Aunt Rose. I feel lucky to have had such a wonderful person in our lives. She was someone that we could look up to and inspire us. I remember all the stories that she used to tell me about our family. She was just a person, that when she was around, she ALWAYS put a smile on our faces. She lived a long and wonderful life. We will miss you Aunt Rose. May she rest in Peace!!
