Alwayne Claybrook Obituary
She was a former member of Newington Baptist Church, Gloucester, Va., and Williamsburg Baptist Church, Williamsburg, Va.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, W. Lyn Claybrook; one son, three daughters; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the Williamsburg Baptist Church, 227 Richmond Road, Williamsburg, Va.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Alwayne was a great and special "Lady". Her friendship and support when we started teaching together help make me a better educator; and just knowing her made me a better person. Be strong for each other and support each other. My heart just broke reading about Mrs. Claybrook's passing. I know that the family is in so much pain and loss over their Queen being gone. She was always so full of love and pride and support for all of her kids and grandkids and did whatever was asked of. You must remember all of the great memories and life stories she shared with you all and know that she will be looking out over each and every one of you always. Love and support each other during these sad times-that is what she would want you to do.
