TO THE BLAIR FAMILY,
I WAS SO HEARTBROKEN TO HEAR THE NEWS OF KIM. I HAD WORKED WITH KIM. I HAD SEEN HER AT THE EMBARQ STORE A COUPLE OF WEEKS BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND WE SHARED SOME TALK AND LAUGHS AT THAT TIME ONCE AGAIN. KIM WAS SUCH A BLESSING TO ALL WHOM CAME IN CONTACT WITH HER. A GOOD SPIRITED AND A GOOD HEARTED PERSON. THAT BEAUTIFUL SMILE ALWAYS TOUCHED ONES HEART. SHE WAS THE SUNSHINE HERSELF. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOUR FAMILY AT THIS GREAT TIME OF SORROW. SHE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY BUT KIM AND HER LOVE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

To the Blair and Anthony families,
May God bless you all in this time of sorrow. I remember Kim from high school and never forgot her. She was funny and always kept a beautiful smile on her face. I saw her in the Mall, shopping for her grandbaby on Christmas Eve. She said that she was not going to leave that store until she brought herself a pair of shoes also. That was the Kim I remembered, always doing for others over herself. May God warm your hearts with peace and fond memories.

Anthony Family

It is hard for me to put everything I want to say into words. The more I try to think of what to say the more I just want to burst out in tears. I have been knowing Kim for about 16 years now and every time I saw her no matter what was going on in her life at the moment she always had that smile on her face that would make you smile through everything that might have been going on in your own life. Kim's smile will be missed, her kind words will be missed and Kim in general will be missed. Raye, Dottie and Ms. Anthony if you need anything please let me know.
I will lift your family up to God, in prayer for there is no hurt that God himself can not and will not bare.

Maurice,
Richard and I were sorry to hear of your loss. I had met Kim before
I knew she was your wife when she worked in Family Medicine. She had
a contagious smile and a friendly personality and that lets me know
that God placed her there to cheer up those of us who needed cheering.
Remember that weeping may endure for a night but JOY comes in the morning. We pray that God will wash
away all tears in due time. GOD is only a whisper away and he hears us, so take him at his word and trust that he will never leave you nor forsake you. God bless you and
your family.

To the Family,
My Prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Kim, Jesus knew all along that is was time to take you home. The gates of Heaven opened wide and Jesus called "Come on inside." You are looking from Heaven smiling down, Thinking to yourself "Why these frowns?" For the bible says, "Joy cometh in the morning, and weeping will not endure." So your memories will remain. When you are sorrowful, look again in your heart, you shall see that in truth, you are weeping for which has been your delight.

Kim will be missed but never forgotten.

Kim I will always treasure you in my heart. You meant so much to me. We shared many laughs together in Family Med at UVA and we continued to always stay in touch through our emails and our quick visits at HR or the gift shop. I remember the day that precious granddaughter of yours was born, the love that shined through your eyes. The way those girls looked up to you and your compassion to love no matter the circumstances. You were like a sister to me and I will always treasure that. Maurice, and girls if you need anything look me up I am still at UVA. I still come to Family Med where Moshae is. Aunt Kim, its not going to be the same without you. I will never be able to put into words how much I loved you. I could come to you anytime. I will miss that voice and that smile that I saw and heard daily. Butterball, Rika, My-My and Maurice I know words of comfort can never take away the pain. That comes with time. But we are here for you to lean on whenever. Our family was strong when Aunt Kim was here and she would not want it any other way. I hurts us all going through this time of grief. But for whatever reason the good Lord seem fit to take Aunt Kim away we have to accept that and just cherish all the memories, good times, the cookouts, card games and her all time favorite Pokeno nights. We have to know that she is in a better place than we are.
But family we will get through this because we will help each other.

FLORA TERRY

January 10, 2008

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

To The Blair and Anthony Families:
You all have my and my families heartfelt sympathy. Your families and mine have known each other for many years. Kim was someone I did not see often, but when I did see her she was always pleasant. Her love for Mashae,Maurika and Kimiyah as well as the rest of her family was evident to all that knew her. Family Keep your heads up, try to stay strong and continue to pray, because GOD will continue to bless each and every one of you. You all have our deepest sympathy. The Robinson & Smith families

I remember the times going to my Family Practice appointments in which I dreaded because I knew that it would be a long wait, but Kim always made the waiting so pleasant. That smile of hers brighted the day. She will really be missed. My sympathy goes out to all of you.

Dear Mashae,

I was so sad to hear of Kim's sudden death and while there is nothing I can say that will ease your loss, I wanted you to know that I am grieving and thinking of you and your family. Kim was such a wonderful person, and I will surely miss her. My thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time.

With Love and Sympathy,
