Bradley Scalise Obituary

Bradley Glenn Scalise, 64, resident of Brentwood, California, passed away at home, on August 10, 2015, after a long battle with cancer.

Bradley was the eldest of four children, born on January 16, 1951, to Glenn and Elizabeth Scalise of East Springfield, Pennsylvania. Brad graduated in 1969 from Northwestern High School. After serving in the Navy as a machinist during the Vietnam War, he moved to California in 1977 with his wife Lynn and had two children.

Until his retirement in 2005, Bradley worked for Contra Costa County Sanitary District as a stationary engineer. He was an active community member, devoted many hours to Brentwood Boy Scout Pack and Troop 93, and was always willing to lend a hand. His favorite hobbies included camping, mountain-man rendezvous, hunting, fishing, rebuilding tractors, and spending time with his family and friends.

Bradley is survived by wife Lynn; his children, Gwen Scalise and Cory Scalise and his wife Tracey; grandchildren, Aeva and Jack; siblings, Patricia Hosler, Jefferson, Ohio, Jeffrey Scalise, Painesville, Ohio, and Julia Pellegrino, Girard, Pa.; and seven nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers or donations, Brad's request is that you enjoy spending quality time with your family, friends, and loved ones.

A celebration of Brad's life will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Camp Judson, 398 Holiday Road, North Springfield, Pa.
