Karen Copeland Obituary
Karen graduated from Northwestern High School. Following high school, she worked at Girard Plastics for 35 years. She enjoyed simply being outside and working on her plants, trees and watching birds.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Ransom; a half-sister, Mary Ann Talso; and two brothers, Cecil C. Copeland Jr. and Bruce Copeland.
She will be greatly missed by her family, which includes her three sisters, Carolyn Cottrell, Susan A. Peterson, and Roxanne Copeland; a sister-in-law, Nancy Copeland; two brothers, Roger Copeland (Kris) and Rodney Copeland (Linda); and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
No calling hours or services will be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Karen Copeland Memorial Fund, c/o Edder Funeral Home, 309 Main St. East, Girard, PA 16417. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Edder Funeral Home, Inc., Girard.

My condolences to the Copeland family's or your loss. Karen was my co-worker at Girard Plastices for many years, she was a wonderful person and a hard worker. Also my father Angelo Bongiorno Sr. Had much love and respect for Kaen over the years she worked for Girard Plastics.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Copeland family at this most difficult time. Karen always had a smile, and always said hello walking past our home on Canal Street. I have many fond memories of the family, and wish we could all go back to those days when everyone sat on a porch and had conversations with the neighbors, even if it was a smile and a hello. Playing with the Copelands in the snow piles, and sledding, hide and seek. I had the opportunity to sit and chat with Karen at the Fies reunion a couple years ago, and enjoyed every minute of it. I extend my love and prayers to all.

It was a shock to learn of Karen"s death.When our family first moved to Albion Karen became my best friend in school.As the years passed we lost contract with each other, but I thought of her often.Karen you might be gone but you will never be forgotten. <3
