Brianna Dawn Lee Gilson

Brianna Dawn Lee Gilson, three years old, of Conroe, Texas went home to heaven on July 29, 2016. She was the daughter of Amanda Reddick-Gilson of Conroe, Texas, formally of of Sherrill, Iowa. Services will be held at Shady Acres Baptist Church at 7330 Vogel Rd, Houston. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a service to follow.

Brianna was born April 13, 2013 in The Woodlands, Texas. She had a vivid imagination which centered on helping others, whether it was calling all her Paw Patrol pups to save Jake off the mountain, or protecting the farmer's animals from Captain Hook, or tending to her sick stuffed kitties. She was a natural in the water, having been in the pool already at six weeks old, and loved the bathtub where she played with her Octonauts who always needed saving too. Brianna loved playing her guitar, drums, recorder, and singing to Hawaiian music. She loved helping her mommy bake, especially cracking the eggs and using the mixer. She even baked in her sandbox, making the most delicious sand cakes.

She is survived by her mother; her grandmother Rita (Tigges) Reddick of Dubuque, Iowa; her aunt and uncle Rebecca and Jon Cook and their children Dustin and Alivia of Janesville, Wisconsin; and numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather William Reddick of Weleetka, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Brianna's name.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Claire Brothers Funeral Home (7901 Hillcroft Street, Houston, Texas, 77081).
