My family and I are very sad to lose Uncle Harold. He was a kind, honest and thoughtful person who always had a smile for others. I will remember him as a favorite uncle who I enjoyed spending time with at family gatherings where we shared many laughs over the years. I especially admired his strength and courage. He was a man of great integrity and trust. Rest in peace and love, Uncle Harold, in the arms of God with dad, Grammy and Grandpa.

Harold was a great and wonderful friend who made a unique and indelible impression on the many people whose lives he enriched in countless ways. His cheerful optimism, indomitable courage, fierce independence and unfailing good humor was contagious, and we felt elevated in his presence. Harold helped me with my taxes for nearly fifty years, always in a meticulous manner and with great integrity. It was a pleasure, and even fun, to deal with him! We will always remember Harold with utmost respect, admiration and affection..

Pam, Dawn, and Harold Jr. and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Harold’s passing. We actually spoke to Harold shortly after his heart surgery when he called us right out of the blue. We reminisced over the ‘old’ days and we were able to share how much he personally has meant to us. Harold was a wonderful teacher, a steadfast friend, and an honest person. He wanted the best for all his clients and friends. He had no ‘gray’ areas, it was either right or it was wrong. Personally, he is one of the people who I can honestly say has touched our hearts and our souls and we will never forget him and are so thankful he was in our lives. George has a procedure this week so I am sorry we will not be at his service in person, but please know we will be there in spirit.

Our heartfelt condolences to Harold’s family. Though we knew him on a professional level,I personally valued him as a friend who I thoroughly enjoyed talking with. He had a great sense of humor, but was very tenacious at dealing with some of the adversity in his life. The man was incredibly tough, strong willed ,and never took any help from anyone, and never complained about anything. We will miss him immensely. Rest well my friend.
