I don't know him but there is a plaque by a tree in our local park with his name on it. I had to look him up and see why he died. He died for this country and is a brave soldier who gave his all for our freedoms. Thank you and your family for this service and I know this post is in 2019 so the plaque is helping his name live on.

Justin you are always in my prayers, particularily this Memorial Day weekend. It is difficult to know what to say since I want to express my sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Spc Pollard. Please know that your loved one is not forgotten. I wish everyone impacted by this tragic loss strength and peace. I hope that Spc Pollard knew that there are people in America who respect his great courage in serving as a member of the US military. Although I did not know him, I know that he must have been a very special person to be willing to do something that most Americans will never have to experience, and for that we can never say thank you enough.

I don't pretend to know what to say or do that would bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.
Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.
I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON (KIA on 07/06/07) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.

In Remembrance of this Fine Young Soldier, Spc. Justin W. Pollard, on the 3rd anniversary of the day gave his life for our Country and for Freedom.
May Justin, rest safely in God's Loving Care and know that he is a True American hero, that shall Never Be Forgotten.
May the Peace of the Lord be with the Pollard family.

Justin was one of the most real people I ever met. He never fed anyone a line, and was always an awesome guy. I served with him before he left for Iraq and became pretty good friends. Po Lard you will be greatly missed.

He was my brother's best friend, an older brother to me and one of about 30 guys my mother calls son. We love him with all our hearts. J we miss you and live in your honor every day. You saved my life in more ways than anyone will ever know. Thank you!
