Dear Linda and Beth,
We so often think of your sweet folks and thank them for building the most beautiful house in the world that we were so blessed and lucky to own. Its like they built it for us. There is not a day that goes by that we don't say we just love this house!
Our sincerest sympathies,Colleen and Darin Scott

Dear Linda and Beth,
I too will always remember living behind your Dad. He was a wonderful person. He was always golfing in the back yard and working on his flowers. He loved my dog and all of my daycare kids. You were blessed. Love, Trudy Rader

Dear Beth and Linda:
I will always have fond memories of growing up next door to your Mom and Dad. Their beautiful garden, eating cookies and watching your Dad practice his golf swing. I had such fun retrieving his golf balls and he was so patient with Dan and I. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

My name is Bob Sanborn, now retired from Monitor Sugar some 18 years. Grant Nichol was my predecessor at Monitor Sugar as V.P. of Agriculture. He was a fine leader and agriculturist in the sugar industry, and recognized throughout the nation as an authority on sugar beet culture. He was respected by company employees and sugar beet growers for his honest efforts for them and us. It was my privilege to have worked with Grant. My sincere condolences to his family.

To the family of Grant Nichol -

My name is Paul Pfenninger and I first met Grant in 1978 when he referred me to Michigan Sugar Company for a job in the beet business. I took the job in Saginaw but was lured back to Bay City three years later by Grant and Bob Sandborn. I took a job as Agronomist, then General Ag Mgr and currently am the V.P. of Agriculture. Grant was my first contact in the beet business and here it is 35 years later. I did have the chance to visit with him not too long ago with a phone call. He was a great guy who will always be remembered in the sugar business. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
