Brother Malinowski Obituary
AGE: 71 • Lincroft
Brother Kevin John Malinowski, F.S.C., 71, of Lincroft died Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and received the Holy Habit of the Christian Brothers on September 7, 1958. He was a graduate of Catholic University, Washington, D.C. and earned a master's degree from Manhattan College in 1969 and University of Detroit in 1983.
His assignments included De La Salle School, Detroit, Michigan, Mater Christi High School, Astoria, N.Y.; College Notre Dame, Dire Dawa, Ethiopia; as a Special Apostolate to St. Joseph School, Addis Ababa and to the Diocese of Arusha, Tanzania; Rongai Secondary School, Rongai, Kenya; St. Paul's Secondary School, Marsabit, Kenya; Meki Catholic Mission School, Meki, Ethiopia; St. Brendan's School, Bandelierkop, South Africa; Mwangaza College, Nakuru, Kenya; and De La Salle Collegiate, Warren, Michigan. He was in residence at De La Salle Hall since June, 2011.
The viewing will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, May 21 at De La Salle Hall, Lincroft. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 22 at De La Salle Hall, followed by interment at St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Marlboro. Memorial donations to De La Salle Nursing Development, 810 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, NJ 07738 would be appreciated. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, is in charge of arrangements.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
