Manuel Jimenez Obituary
AGE: 71 • Perth Amboy
Manuel J. "Manny" Jimenez, of Perth Amboy, died Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Raritan Bay Medical Center. Born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico. He came to Brooklyn, NY in 1963 and lived in Perth Amboy for the last 40 years. He was employed by a Hot Dog Factory, Somerset as a Machine Operator for over 20 years. He retired in 1996. He served his country in the US Army during Viet Nam War.
He is preceeded in death by, his parents Manuel and Marcolina ( nee Lugo) Jimenez, and 2 Brothers Santana and Manuel A. ( Modesto) Jimenez. He is survived by his 8 Children Manuel J. Jr.. Olga Y. Jimenez, Graciela Torres, Manuel A. Fontanez of Perth Amboy, Jipson Fontanez of Old Bridge, Carlos M. Fontancz of Linden, Marcolina Jimenez-Almanzar of Lutz, Flordia, Elizabeth Jimenez of Rock Island, Illinos; 4 Sisters Evangelista, Maria I., Maria Isabel and Teresita; and 3 Brothers Manuel, Ruben A., and Bernardo Jimenez; 18 Grandchildren and a Great Grandson; and his cherished adopted daughter Ady Jimenez of Perth Amboy; Adored Uncle of many Nieces and Nephews.
We will begin to leave Saturday at 8:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home. 419 Barclay St., for a Funeral Mass at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church- Burial will he Private. Visiting is on Friday from 7 - 9 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Manny's memory can be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital www.stjude.org.

My condolences to all my cousins...May the Good Lord have him resting in eternal peace...Tio joaquin was my favorite uncle of them all.. He didn't have to do a thing to gain that! His smile and his cheerful self won all the victories in my eyes... I love him so and well i know we will all meet again one day... Tio Rejoice!!!!
