Tammy and Family, I was shocked and saddened this afternoon when I walked in the barbershop and saw the program for Barry's Memorial Service. Needless to say, your pain is immeasurable. Barry was my first barber after moving to Loudoun County and we had many laughs and great conversation. He was not merely a barber but a great brother. I was blessed to be a part of a few great moments that you all shared together and will forever cherish the memories our acquaintance. I pray God's comfort for you as you go through this season.

Barry,
We never met, but I always heard wonderful things about you from your sister Brenda, who often remarked that you were gentle and kindhearted. You are greatly missed and well loved by family, friends and strangers alike.
To Mama Pearson, Dad, Brenda, Tianne, Tammy and her boys: I am so absolutely sorry for your loss. You have my deepest sympathy.

Tammy,
While I never had the opportunity to meet you or the kids personally, I knew Barry for many years from going to Platinum Cuts. Barry always made space for me if I needed a cut, but even if he didn't cut my hair, we always had great talks while I was there. Barry always had an amazing positive presence in the shop. You could always tell that he was a man of faith and morals. I will miss his smile, his sense of humor, and our talks about sports and business opportunities. I cannot begin to imagine your feelings at this time, but hold steadfast to God, and know that his good works are only beginning.

Barry, I will miss you my brother! I will never hear you say "BRASCO" when I walk into the shop. You always kept a good conversation going and always had a positive attitude. When you said " Real Talk" I always listened harder. The shop will never be the same. It was a blessing to have known you thru the years, I give my condolences to your family.
Pray and watch over us in Heaven as we pray and watch over your Family on Earth.
God Bless!

I've known Barry for 6 of the 7 years i lived in Atlanta. Every week he would give me sound advice as i sat in the barber chair. His interest in the technology field always led to interesting conversetions. As stated, he was a very positive individual. A father figure and someone I was lucky to call a friend.
The last time we spoke, I told you about the birth of my son. Now… I see how petty the feud with my father truly is. You always encouraged me to make the right choices, thanks for believing in me.
To the family, I send my condolences. He was a good dude.
