I'm a classmate of Larry's from Westminster and this notice was sent to me via e-mail from California. Larry had such a great smile, funny laugh, and always "pushed the envelope" which gave him that entrepreneurial edge. My condolences to Betsy and the entire family. May God continue to bless you in this time of grief.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We enjoyed meeting Larry through NYO Sports a couple of years ago. Even recently, he offered to help a friend of mine (that he did not know) go through her brain surgery. Heaven is now a better place with Larry there.

Larry was my brother who accomplished more than we will ever know because he was the greatest, love to you betsy jimmy

Oh goodness. I met Larry for he first time in Winn Park. I was 10 years old, or so. He was with Ronnie Cartledge and Traylor Tiecen playing with an electric car! Now this was around 1971, big medicine. We became friends and maintained that friendship for many years. He was my best of best friends. I will miss him dearly. My heart goes out to "Cooie", Betsy, Corrine and Kyle. Brother Thompson

Have you ever had some fried turkey? Do you remember the first time you tried it? I do...Larry cooked it and injected the bird with orange juice and cajun seasoning...man was it awesome. I haven't had any that good since. That was also the same time that Larry invited me to The Masters for my first and only time there. So, thanks to my buddy Larry...I had 2 great memories from that one weekend. However, the thing I hold closest to my heart about Larry was when HE came to ME in one of my greatest times of need. I had gone through a tragic set of circumstances and Larry practically busted down the doors to get to me to counsel me and lend his support. He carried so much wisdom. It was that day that he and I shared a lifelong bond. Oh and I almost forgot that out of the middle of nowhere during winter break, I dropped my kids off at ski school in Park City and who do I run into on the slope?!? Jean Claude Orr!!!! We had some great fun skiing that day. You fought the good fight buddy and I'll miss you...I love you man...you have a wonderful legacy and touched more lives than you can imagine. Thanks for being a great witness and mentor to me. John Cowart
