I know that in the coming days, the devestating task at hand, will not fail to bring us to our knees with the most painful of broken hearts. Let us not forget that this ceremoniously somber and mournful occasion, is an event traditionally carried out, not only as a way to say goodbye to our Brother, thus taking the first step in the grief process, which will require many more steps behind it, and still many stages of this process to come that will also require their own first steps be taken. Allowing Yourself the feeling of pain is instinctively difficult to do, and as many defenses that we are armed with to fight pain of every nature, the pain felt when we miss someone we love is the toughest pain to fight, and most likely the worst pain to feel. The more You fight this pain the more it will strengthen, and the sooner we allow the hurt to penetrate our shield, the faster this pain will move through us, giving way to the next wave of grief that we will suffer in mourning the loss of someone so loved. This will never end, but the hurt... once surrendered to, will start to sting a little less in coming years. So with years with which we will suffer without Chris, keep in mind that in rememberance of Christophers life, it is okay to celebrate. A celebration of Chris will be impossible without Love, Laughter, mindless chattering about days gone by, and most of all, the kids. All the Babies... Insubordinate, and misbehaving, running around and squeeling! There was nothing sweeter to Chris, than all of the kids, wreaking havoc all over. Last I just want to point out the incredible opportunity that We will all have tomorrow in terms of a reunion. People that we may possibly never see again this lifetime. Especially not in one place. There are not only gonna be people that we haven't seen in years but, also people That I have been waiting for years to meet. I will be bringing my camera. To My Family, and all of Our Friends, I Love You All So Much. Chris,I Thank God for Your Love, Your Laugh, and Your Life.

May the lord bring you comfort and peace at this unfortunate time. My love goes out to all the family and dearest of friends. Please know that his soul will now be at rest with the angels and his spirit live through us as we go along each day. He wouldnt want to see tears he knows he is missed, he loved to be playful and smile all the time, He expects nothing less from you too. After all the day is done know he is still right there with you. So smile and celebrate his life, he would want you to. I know this is hard thing to overcome as i am no stranger to pain, it wont get any easier with time but trust in the lord and he will bring you comfort which you need at this time. If there is anything I can do, please dont hesistate. ~ With all my Love~ Nicki Rutledge
