Anthony was an incredible person. So smart and giving. But that magical smile was what I mostly remember about my friend and colleague. He is missed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Anthony Jiles. Anthony and I worked together at PGD. I covered the southwest region. I was shocked to hear the news and wish I could have stayed in touch more in the recent years. I will not just remember the time we worked together but the times we hung out together, laughed, danced the night away! I will miss my friend..

My prayer to the family and friends near and far is for Peace, and strength to celebrate AJ's life, for he certainly enjoyed his. He helped me realize a dream of mine to own a baby grand piano and along with memories of working with him, I'll always have something of him to remind me of him. Be encouraged everyone, he's just asleep and we will see him again! Much Love to you all!

I met Anthony at Fortune records when I was working for MCA/Motown I first thought he would be my competition, he ended up being a friend. Royce told me "that's a good man" and he was right. R.I.P my brother you will be missed.

Anthony was a true friend and brother who had great compassion and caring for others. He was a joy to know and have in my life, and my daughter, Michelle, and my grandson, Isaiah. He has left an indelible mark of love and wonderful memories of his laughter, his playful spirit, and his ability to accept all people. I will miss him immensely, but for now; "Goodnight Sweet Prince.....I will see you in the morning." God's Blessings, and my sincere Prayers of Comfort to the entire family.

No one could ever match the "cat with the hat." Anthony's upbeat spirit could always "overtake" a room; you would know when Mr. Jiles was present. He wouldn't let you be in a funky mood; he would tell a "joke or story" and how could you not laugh or remember your issue wasn't so important anyway.
I thank him for introducing me to the music industry, without his introduction I wouldn't have got my job at PGD nor would have the lifetime friends I have in my life today.
I love deeply and will truly miss you here; but I know you spirit is with all of us; we still hear your laugh and just being silly.
A toast to one of the greatest friends I'll ever know.

I had the great pleasure of working with Anthony Jiles for two years in the late eighties......You could tell when Anthony was near you.....No need to turn on the light, his smile would brighten up the room! No need to turn up the thermostat, because Anthony generated the warmth! I always saw Anthony in a great mood, never recall him being upset about anything...Our loss here on Earth is Heaven's gain.....God Bless you Anthony and your entire family!

Anthony Jiles was a music industry mentor to me and was as nice as a brother to me. He introduced me to the all the urban accounts that I serviced when I began doing urban promotions and guided me in the right direction if I ever had a question out in the field. His joyful smile and down to earth spirit will remain in my heart forever! I love Anthony Jiles and always will!

Anthony was simply the best. He always kept it real, would do anything for you and he was one of those rare people who posessed a gift, the spirit of joy and an aura of happiness. He was ALWAYS fun to be around. He was a friend and mentor I love him and I will miss him dearly.

I met Anthony on January 3rd, 1989, my first day at Polygram Records. It was one of those life changing moments that you never forget. Our relationship went from work colleagues to an instant friendship that lasted til the end. I'll never forget you my friend. I will miss your laughter and spirit for life. Your constant good deeds and unconditional love for all, will carry on in your family and friends that were fortunate to have known you.
