Dear Carole, Sam, Ted, Marian, and John, I am saddened to read of Dave's death and extend my love and support to all of you. He was a wonderful birthday twin cousin and we shared a lot of wonderful times together. May he rest in peace finally, but always know he was loved. My love to all,

On a lighter note. I will never forget Dave and the band on Community Auditions. Under the Boardwalk was a great memory to me. I have so many.

Heartfelt condolences go out to his wife Carole and son Sam, as well as all his family and friends. Dave was one of the nicest people I had ever met. He went out of way to help those in need. I'll always remember what good man he was. He will be very sadly missed. May God Bless his family and may he finally rest in peace. Godspeed my friend.

I was fortunate enough to reconnect with Dave about ten years ago, and I found him to be the same warm, kind and funny person he was when he was young. Also thoughtful and generous. He was a good friend and helped me so much after my mother died.
He shared with me the journey he and Carole were going through with this awful disease, MS, but he never wanted it to be all about him.
Just a wonderful person, and I join you all in missing him.

Dave inspired by being Dave throughout it all over the years. I just thought of him getting a laugh out of one of those "home inspection nightmares" slideshows he would occasionally send to me that I just came across. He is missed.

As a Needham HS classmate of David's, I was sad to hear the news of his passing, though we hadn't been in touch in many years. I remember that even in junior high, Dave was the essence of cool - blond hair hanging in his eyes, slight air of mystery. He was also really funny and smart, creative and musical, and a loyal friend. My sincere condolences to all of his family and friends on this big loss.

To Carole, Sam, family and Dave's many friends; It is written that a musician is an angel incarnate and to sing is to pray twice. David is now in that special place. David, you are still loved.

David was a handsome, soft spoken, gentle man. He loved his family and friends. He lost so much to MS, but not his dignity. We will miss him and will not forget him.

Carole & Sam. Know that he will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. He fought long and hard. He was a great friend and had a wonderful sense of humor.

David was a remarkable friend ever since our teenage years. Kind, considerate, a master craftsman, an athlete, a great band mate in the anthropological sense as well as musical sense. One of the last songs David learned before MS stole his dexterity on piano was Louis Armstrong's, "What a Wonderful World". That exemplified David's strength and positive attitude in the face of such an unfair disease. I love you, Dave.
